SARS are located a couple of miles inland from the beautiful regency town of Sidmouth.

Sidmouth is known for its beautiful, towering red cliffs, which are part of the World Heritage Jurassic Coast.

Our members are drawn from Sidmouth and its surrounding towns and villages.

We welcome new members and/or candidates for our training courses.

If you are a visitor to the area and need assistance or directions, please call on the local repeater GB3SW.

 

We will be announcing a new project early in 2020, we are looking for support

and sponsorship from local business,

not discovered TX Factor films....have a look at the following link you will be

amazed.... their films are a great source of information and an introduction to the

hobby

2020

Membership of SARS is open to all, radio amateurs, shortwave listeners, or others with a radio or broadcasting interest etc there is no need to hold a license to be a member.

Benefits of becoming SARS members, to attend our monthly lectures, to operate the society's equipment on meeting nights and at special event stations. To make use of the society's fixed aerials and mobile antennas at Thorn to test your own equipment etc.

 

Yearly membership is currently £25 per Annum

 A charge of £3 is made for each meeting attended  to cover costs of tea / coffee , rent etc..

 International Space Station

 

BATC.TV have introduced a new channel: "ISS" for media relating to the International Space Station and it's ongoing relationship with radio amateurs worldwide.
